The San Gabriel River Freeway travels generally in a north-south
direction along the easterly boundaries of Greater Los Angeles.
From the south, the San Gabriel River Freeway starts virtually at
the 405 Freeway and then runs in a northerly direction that parallels
the San Gabriel River all the way north to the Foothill's Freeway (the
i-210)... the San Gabriel River Freeway terminates just north after
crossing the Foothill's Freeway, where the San Gabriel River Freeway
meets the historic Route 66.
The San Gabriel River Freeway is also known as the 605, i-605, and
Interstate 605... the length of the San Gabriel River Freeway is
approx. 27 miles long.
